In July 1993 Mobexpert opened
his first shop in Romania specialized
in office furniture. During the
past 10 years Mobexpert developed
and diversified continuously his
distribution and production activities
and now it is a leader on Romanian
market both in furniture retail
trade and furniture export.
The Mobexpert management objective
was to impose on Romanian market
of furniture trade a new type
of sale – large surface shops,
during a period of two years.
To fulfill his business objectives
in a performing way Mobexpert
decided to buy CROS integrated
system in 1999. CROS system is
extending continuously started
with 2000, the year when the first
module in the first company of
Mobexpert began to run. Nowadays
it has over 100 users in over
20 companies of Mobexpert.
This meant a better control and
more exactly information over
stocks, a specific method regarding
the relation with third parties,
decreasing the access time to
information for manager as well
as unifying the used programs.
“In order to have these facilities
we chose the platform that seemed
to be exactly what we needed –
CROS from CRIsoft”.
As a result of the pilot project
started in 2000 to one of the
group companies Mobexpert could
use immediately the new order
system – orders from clients,
orders to suppliers, supplying
based on orders, billing to client
based on orders.
The start was in 1999 with a minimum
of operations – billing part,
supplying, accounting and pursuing
the relation of income-payment
with partners.
Also Mobexpert Group has an important
production sector as an independent
activity. ERP application for
production modules didn’t
started from the beginnings. Now
it is used in Bucharest at Mobexpert
companies.
From the beginning of the CRIsoft
partnership it was possible to
make a part of orders using Web,
an improvement of working with
distributors. Instead of fax or
phone they can use the interface
created by CRIsoft. After the
order is issued the data are transmitted
to production, the final product
is ready, the delivery is made
and also the billing using the
same data.
Considered to be an achievement
the Web orders system is used
now by many partners of Mobexpert,
one of the most important distributors
from the country.
