Inventory - Assets
The management of fixed assets is provided
by CROS Module Inventory - Assets.
CROS IV ensures the following functions:
Administration of fixed assets
- Control by organization, department at any
level (offices, plant, workshop etc.), location
and employee
- Classification according to various criteria,
legal categories and criteria defined by the
user
- Movements operated - asset commissioning,
transfer, writing-off, increase and decrease
of values, sale - automatically generate account
records in compliance with pre-established
rules.
Calculation of asset depreciation
- Depreciation method can be set-up by the
user
- All legal methods are available
Reports related to fixed assets
- Fixed asset lists, depreciation lists
- Fixed asset file
- New reports and statements can be built
without requiring software development efforts,
formulas defining report columns being set
up by the user.
Integration with the other CROS modules
- Account records related to depreciation
and movements are automatically generated
- When acquiring or selling an asset, relevant
records in the client / supplier account balance
are automatically generated.
Plant and Equipment System
(technical fixed assets)
Provides the management of fixed assets (equipment
/ plants / installations), requiring a detailed
monitoring by component, more detailed than
the accounting monitoring, used in the field
of public utilities, communications, distribution,
and transport of electric power, gas, oil
products.
The system is meant to support organizations
owning equipment / plants connected among
them, with the capability to interchange components
and spread over large areas.
Main functions:
- Break-down by components;
- Monitoring of the movements of components
in time and space (equipment / plants);
- Light-up connections between equipment items
The system can be integrated with a GIS
system, in order to identify the equipment
location. Flexible and easy to use, designed
in client-server architecture, this system
is an important achievement, being an interface
between two leader products in its fields:
ORACLE and Arc View.
It can be also extended with graphic capabilities
showing charts and designs (electric, water
networks), change in features or attachment
of pictures of the item. The picture above
shows the location and electric chart for
an electric transformer.
